I really don’t have a problem with “big brother” style surveillance. I pretty much assume I’m always on camera, always being watched. I honestly find it kind of flattering. The problem I have is with selective surveillance. If we’re all being watched, how come we don’t get to watch? Why do politicians get back room deals but my privacy is gone? It’s true most people could care less what other people do, but I want the right to look back if I want to. The politicians keep saying only the bad people have something to hide. OK, so I want a 24 hour web cam in the oval office. I want every Senator’s office bugged and searchable.

We all get to live in glass houses from now on.
